Our Story

Founded by Carlee Spath and Vanessa Huerta- Butts, The Switch was born out of a shared vision and passion for excellence in esthetics and community. With a rich history of working together in the industry, Carlee and Vanessa combined their expertise, creativity, and commitment to elevate the standards of skincare, beauty services and a holisitic health. Their collaborative journey inspired them to create a unique space where innovation meets personalized care.

Zaylee Armstrong

Esthetician

Zaylee is a licensed esthetician with us at The Switch who combines holistic and medical-grade esthetics to remedy her treatments. She specializes in luxury experiences tailored to her client's lifestyles and skincare rituals. She provides continued support that empowers her clients to be the most confident and comfortable in their skin. Zaylee strives to educate and guide her client's inner and outer self-care journey. Lash Artist

Owner of DG Lashing, a licensed esthetician and San Diego native who is passionate about lash extensions and waxing. She brings her skills and expertise to her thriving business located in The Switch Suites community. Danee aims to offer a convenient and cozy space for her clients to indulge in their beauty needs.

Danee has extensive experience in the aesthetics world, and genuinely believes that lashing is an art that captures her heart. Attention to detail and dedication to providing flawless lash extensions and expert waxing services sets Danee apart.

Rachel Marhenke

Lash Artist/ Esthetician

Rachel of BunBunBeauty, is a San Diego based licensed Esthetician who has been offering customized treatments to all of her clients since 2016.

Rachel is often known for her love of pampering and attention to detail. She gives all of her clients the same treatment she would expect to receive on herself. She is a lash extension professional, resulting jn clients receiving a full set after every fill appointment.

You can find Rachel inside The Switch, located in Bankers Hill. She specializes in eyelash extensions, customized facials, HydraFacial, and facial massage. She is a certified Novalash, Borboleta and LashBoxLA Eyelash Extension Stylist.

As a 25 year seasoned esthetician Raunette has grown to know the critical importance of clean beauty products for over all wellness. Specializing in Toxin free/ beyond organic products for all my treatments.

At Raunette Celeste Esthetics & Wellness you will find a wide variety of therapies: Full body sugaring hair removal, personalized facials (or any area of the body needing some TLC), Dermaplaning, vegetable based eyebrow & eye lash tinting, emotional release therapy and raindrop technique with essential oils🤍

Rachel Pigula

Massage Therapist

Rachel Pigula, owner of The Chandra Collective, is a dedicated and passionate Licensed Massage Therapist, Ayurvedic Counselor, Yoga Instructor, student, and friend, committed to holding space for the authentic growth of those around her.

She is eager to spread love and reverence for the holistic practices that have shaped her, and will continue to shape her into the best version of herself. She believes it is her purpose to not only help others feel better by living more harmoniously with nature, but to help them remember that they innately carry the key to their own healing.

In honor of The Switch’s third birthday, Rachel is offering a 90 minute massages for $150 for new clients for the month of August and September. Additionally, she will be holding a FREE 1 hour class (date TBD) on the foundations of Ayurveda to the first 20 people who sign up.

Dr. Nicolette Natrin

Acupuncturist

Dr. Nicolette is our resident acupuncturist and herbal specialist at The Switch Suites. What distinguishes Dr. Nicolette from other acupuncturists is her focus on the chakra system as a diagnostic and healing tool.

She loves to help clients resolve stress, depression, anxiety, sleep issues, fatigue, neck pain, back pain, headaches, allergies and more by healing the root (mental, emotional, and spiritual) causes of the dis-ease.
